Chemicals and Toxins the Silent Killers
“There are pollutants and chemicals in the air we breathe and in the food we eat and continuous exposure to these toxins is pushing our bodies to the tipping point and literally making us sick.
In the last couple of decades the autism rate in the U.S.A. has gone from 1 in 2,500 children to 1 in 150. One study found that there are over 200 chemicals found in a newborn’s umbilical cord. About 70 of those chemicals are carcinogenic. Childhood (and adult) cancers are on the rise.
But there is hope. Organizations like the Environmental Working Group (EWG) are dedicated to protecting us, and our children, from those toxic chemicals in our food, water, air and the products we use every day.
Please take a moment to sign EWG’s petition to demand that Congress take action to make chemicals in consumer products kid-safe. We CAN make a difference.”
