Digestive Disorders Linked To Low Healthy Stomach Acid

Organic apple cider vinegar with the "mother", juice from an organic lemon, or organic unsweetened cranberry juice can also provide some immediate relief. Use of acid blockers also blocks absorption of minerals, like calcium which needs a solid acidic environment for breakdown. Osteoporosis, susceptibility of bacterial infections, and potential stomach cancer are just a few of the possible side effects of those drugs.

The subject of digestion would appear to be the foundation of ones health, regardless of the variety of enzymes mentioned. Enzymes are of course critical to proper digestion, but is it not the mix of food that determines it ? There are too many foods consumed in the typical American diet which cause the formation of acid, and not enough foods which act in their digestion as a bath for alkalinity. The proper balance of acid vs alkalinity is perhaps the most critical subject for our health. Google it and you will find a plethora of information on the subject.
