Dragon's Blood Heals Damaged Skin

Medicine Hunter Chris Kilham explains how the herb Dragon's Blood is actually the latex from a tree (of the same name) that has traditionally been used for healing the skin. The deep red tree sap contains collagen that’s known for healing damaged skin cells and is used medicinally on everything from burns to bites and from cuts to sores.

Kilham discusses how he's looking at making trade with the Amazonian people to produce Dragon's Blood in a cooperative endeavor that could help in the efforts to save the rainforest by encouraging native agricultural land use.
