Share Your Favorite Holiday Recipes With Us
The weather is starting to turn crisp early here in Baltimore this year. And that means we have one …well, okay two…things on our minds and they are the upcoming holidays and all the delicious foods that will come with them.
This year we thought it would be fun if you all had the opportunity to share some of your favorite holiday recipes with each other (and with us of course). So we are officially launching our first annual "HealthierTalk.com Holiday Recipe Swap" today.
We’d like you to share with us your most delicious sides, your tastiest mains, and your best to-die-for desserts. Send us everything from your traditional old favorites to your newest adaptations. Our only request is that it be one of your favorites.
- Perhaps you have a healthier whole-grain-twist on the traditional turkey stuffing you can share?
- Maybe you have the perfect traditional pumpkin-pie recipe for a little holiday splurge?
- Is your special lower-sugar yams recipe (the one that everyone raves about) perfect for the diabetics among us?
- Could your never-miss gravy recipe be a hit on someone else’s table this year?
- Have you slashed the salt in your green bean casserole making it ideal for those of us watching our blood pressure?
We want to see them all!
Please email your favorite holiday recipes to recipes @ healthiertalk.com (be sure to remove the spaces around the @ symbol in the email address before sending) no later than October 31’st, 2010.
We’ll be gathering all of them together and sharing them right here on HealthierTalk.com on a special "HealthierTalk.com Holiday Recipe Swap" page with your name and where you’re from.
We’ll also be assembling an exclusive cookbook—featuring your favorite recipes—to share with all of our HealthierTalk.com Digest readers just in time for holiday menu planning. (So keep in mind, by sending us your recipe you're agreeing to allow us to post it to the website and include it our cookbook.)
If you aren’t yet signed up for the HealthierTalk.com Digest click here to be sure you don’t miss out on your free downloadable copy of this special cookbook as soon as it’s ready!
