Understanding Your Pain — And How To Get Rid Of It For Good!

If you’re reading this report and you suffer from joint and muscle pain, back pain, or other bodily aches, chances are that you’ve tried a host of treatments that haven’t really worked. Expensive prescription pain medications are often ineffective. What’s more, they put you at increased risk for serious side effects such as a muscle-wasting syndrome called rhabdomyolysis-- and in rare instances renal failure, heart attacks, and even death. Popular over-the-counter (OTC) pain relievers commonly used for arthritis symptoms, like Aleve or Advil, also increase your risk of heart attack and stroke. In this Special Report, you’ll learn about a remarkably effective discovery that can bring you relief—completely safe relief-- from discomfort due to joint pain and arthritis. And you’ll learn about other techniques, including nutrition, exercises, breathing techniques, and acupuncture, all of which can help relieve pain, and restore you to an active healthy life. So read on…

How Hydraflexin Ends the Pain Cycle

Hydraflexin brings together two key nutraceuticals, Paractin and Hyaluronic Acid (HA), to banish pain more rapidly and effectively than other natural supplements. You’ve probably heard about MSM, glucosamine and chondroitin, the most well-known natural remedies used to promote joint repair, mobility, and pain relief. But in a recent comparison, the Paractin and HA in Hydraflexin more than equaled all their benefits—while producing better results in relieving pain. What’s more, Hydraflexin’s nutraceuticals acted more rapidly than these other natural compounds, providing nearly instant relief.

Though less widely-known than these other oral supplements, Paractin’s benefits have been demonstrated through multimillion dollar research and university-based clinical trials. For fifteen years Dr. Juan Hancke, a Chilean medical researcher and biochemist, who trained in the U.S. and Europe, served as Principal Investigator on original studies of a rare medicinal plant known as Andrographis Paniculata. This plant has been used for thousands of years as a folk remedy and also in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In contrast to OTC pain remedies that are widely known to undermine gastrointestinal health, Chinese doctors actually used Andrographis to help strengthen the gastrointestinal tract. This is one of many reasons why Dr. Hancke sought to unlock the key ingredient that made Andrographis a powerhouse analgesic (pain soother) and a safe one! Once he identified and extracted the key ingredient, Fitoterapia, further studies, including one published in the prestigious Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, demonstrated that it did indeed reduce the inflammation on strained ligaments, joints, and muscles without harming the gastrointestinal lining.

Dr. Hancke’s discovery yielded the patented compound Paractin, and his research also revealed why it’s more effective and faster than other natural remedies.  The most widely used natural remedy for joint pain, glucosamine acts on a biochemical pathway that theoretically contributes to joint repair. But its actual efficacy is in dispute-- with a recent trial led by the National Institutes of Health showing no significant improvement.

In contrast, Paractin acts directly on pain because it treats inflammation, the source of pain. For example, in common arthritis, cartilage, the joint’s natural cushioning is reduced by a combination of wear-and-tear and inflammation. As cushioning shrinks, bone rubs on bone. If you’ve ever felt that kind of discomfort in your fingers, knees, hips, or any joint, you know that the ensuing pain reduces mobility. You move more carefully, and exercise less, creating a vicious cycle leading to even more immobility—and more pain.

Paractin intervenes directly in this vicious cycle by turning down the body’s inflammation response. Studies confirm that Paractin inhibits a key biochemical, called Nuclear Factor kappa B (NFkB). When NFkB is activated due to stress or injury it triggers the release of cytokines, the front end offense of the body’s normal immune response. The problem is that this natural response can become over-activated due to various stressors, such as poor diet, lowered immunity, toxins, emotional stresses, job challenges, and injuries—not to mention the aging process. As a result, your body’s inflammatory response is on “ongoing alert”, releasing excessive numbers of cytokines that roam the body, producing inflammation that attacks your tissues, cartilage, and joints—and creates discomfort and pain anywhere in your body. But by turning down the action of NFkB, Paractin slows the release of cytokines and lowers the over-activated inflammatory response. Its unique anti-inflammatory action is why Paractin was cited by the Consumer Health Digest 2005 as one of the Top 10 Natural Pain Relievers.

Paractin is one of the two primary ingredients in Hydraflexin. Hydraflexin also contains another powerful nutraceutical to address the second important cause of discomfort-- the reduction in joint, muscle, ligament, and tendon lubrication.  Synovial fluid is the lubricating agent your body relies on for flexibility and range of motion. Doctors and others researchers studying pain have determined that synovial fluid levels decrease with age—with up to a fifty percent loss after age fifty. When this occurs, it’s just like what happens when moving parts in a machine are not properly oiled. Instead of moving smoothly, the fluidity of movement becomes jerky. But you’re not a machine, so when you can’t move your joints with ease, it hurts. And it couldn’t be happening at a worse time of life. Just as aging and inflammation reduce the cushioning of joints, lowered lubrication further reduces mobility and flexibility, causing even more stiffness and pain. If only you could restore the production of synovial fluid! Well, the good news is that now you can.

To do that, you have to increase the key compound which helps to produce synovial fluid. This compound, called Hyaluronic Acid (HA), helps produce that vital fluid to keep all the connective tissue in your body moist and flexible. So critical is HA, that for many years, doctors injected HA into painful knees and other joints to provide relief. Up until quite recently, painful injections were the sole medical option because doctors found that the oral forms of HA were not absorbed in the cell membranes.   Now, thanks to a major discovery by researcher Dr. Neil Ross and his European and Asian colleagues, a bio-fermented form of HA at the correct molecular weight and purity level can be taken safely and effectively in a new oral formulation.  Dr. Ross’s formulation of HA is the second active ingredient in Hydraflexin. With Paractin to fight the pain and inflammation,  and HA to replenish your joint fluid, Hydraflexin is the one-two knockout punch that can stop your pain in its tracks!

You can complement this entirely natural nutritional supplement with a few simple changes to help support you in a pain-free life.

Relax your way to a pain-free life. Simple breathing techniques can bring pronounced relief from pain. By helping you direct your mind away from the pain, breathing has been shown to relieve tension, pain, and muscle and back aches. Take time everyday to stop thinking--about your problems, your job, and your pain! Instead follow these simple steps.

  •    1. Sit comfortably in a straight chair, relax, and release all the tension in your body
  •    2. Let go of your thoughts.
  •    3. Sit up straight, as if pulled by an imaginary string at the top of your head, lengthening the distance between your navel and your chest.
  •    4. Now breathe in consciously, through your nose (breathing through your nose helps to warm, humidify, and filter the air as it enters your lungs). Use your diaphragm as you breathe. As you take in air, expand allow your stomach to gently expand.
  •    5. When you feel you’ve completed your in-breath, allow the exhalation to happen naturally. Repeat this cycle several times. You can consciously relax whenever you’d like throughout the day.

Stretch your pain away. . . with simple yoga exercises.

Taking a relaxing yoga class is a great way to stay in shape, help relieve pain, and maintain or enhance joint mobility. Look for a teacher who is familiar with therapeutic yoga—or use a gentle yoga videotape or CD. Never feel pressured into going beyond your body’s comfort level or capacities. At the beginning of the class, always alert your teacher to any joint discomfort, which may limit your ability to do specific exercises. Most skilled teachers will ask you about any ongoing physical limitations and are skilled at offering modifications to exercises to accommodate pain or injury. And the added benefit of yoga is stress reduction, which helps minimize the inflammatory response.

Body work, acupuncture and other complementary treatments

Gentle body work, or physiotherapy with a skilled practitioner can be helpful, but make sure that your practitioner is aware of problematic joints and touches them with care. Solid research suggests that, by stimulating the nervous system, acupuncture relieves the soft-tissue pain of fibromyalgia, which causes muscle pain, stiffness and fatigue for unknown reasons and affects about 2% of Americans, mainly women.  Acupuncture has also proven to be effective with osteoarthritis, and can improve function. But acupuncture is known to be less effective for rheumatoid arthritis or other systemic inflammatory conditions. Also, while it can relieve pain and discomfort, and has few side effects, the relief is often temporary and the treatments expensive.

Avoid Foods that cause inflammation. Take plenty of fish oils. These regulate prostaglandins just like Vioxx and other NSAIDs, but without the deadly side effects.  Avoid sugar. Less sugar means lower insulin, which in turn means fewer inflammatory prostaglandins will be produced.

The IF Rating system found at www.inflammationfactor.com  can help you calculate the impact of the foods you eat: a negative rating indicates an inflammatory food and a positive rating an anti-inflammatory food.

Here are some basic guidelines:

Foods that Feed Inflammation

  • -White flour
  • -Sugar
  • -Fatty Meats
  • -Transfats found in processed, fried and snack foods
  • Foods, Plants, and Herbs that Fight Inflammation

  • -Whole grains
  • -Vegetables
  • -Fruits
  • -Legumes
  • -Nuts
  • -Omega-3 fats found in wild salmon, herring, sardines, and mackerel
  • -Rosemary
  • -Oregano
  • -Garlic
